POSITION:  Community Marketing Manager



The Community Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting, creating and evaluating events, programs and marketing strategies at the local level to uniquely brand Dairy Queen in the local markets that Fourteen Foods operates.  This person is responsible for driving traffic, sales and profitable results.  Additionally, this role establishes and maintains relationships with Directors, Supervisors and General Managers within assigned territories.  Reporting to the Director of Community Marketing, this position is part of the marketing team and will support the overall brand plan and company goals of Fourteen Foods. 




  • Build relationships with community teams, schools, churches and libraries encouraging them to choose Dairy Queen as their favorite QSR
  • Increase sales, traffic counts, customer conversion and redemptions through the distribution of related marketing materials to local community groups and influencers within schools, teams, churches and libraries
  • Manage beginning-to-end execution of store promotions by: establishing objectives, implementing strategies, communicating with cross-functional team members, and providing post-promotion summaries
  • Work with Operations' supervisors and store management teams on how to best complete local marketing plans, programs and promotions
  • Support Director of Community Marketing in determining and developing strategic store marketing plans and programs
  • Leverage fundraising program to drive incremental sales and increased involvement with local non-profit organizations
  • Organize media reps, third party vendors, and contract agreements
  • Track and analyze sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)



  • Serve as local liaison for community giving and charitable programs
  • Implement and execute Fourteen Foods donation process
  • Ensure proper execution of partnerships with school, churches, libraries and youth sports organizations



  • Evaluate and manage local Community Marketing budget and expenses
  • Assist stores/corporate with key product and competitive information for important sales and promotional events
  • Provide feedback and direction to corporate on various territorial and market programs and events
  • Provide first class customer service and professionalism on all partnerships, events, programs and relationships



  • 3-5 years experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations
  • Ability to meet and exceed expectations within a fast-paced work environment
  • Extensive computer experience with both Microsoft and Apple Products
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Willing to travel 25-50% of work hours



  • Experience in multi-unit marketing
  • Restaurant or retail marketing experience
  • Franchise business experience
