Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring employee documentation is scanned, uploaded, labeled and filed electronically.
  • Manage I-9 verification by auditing new hires and maintain communication with point of contact until I-9 case has been closed successfully. Timely reporting of I-9 compliance issues/concerns.
  • Assist Payroll Specialists with employee documentation and timely entering data into HRIS (ADP). Documents and tasks include but are not limited to Corrective Action, Separation Forms, New Hire Paperwork, PIN generation, and Email correspondence.

Administrative support

  • Manage and distribute mail
  • Assist HRIS in report and system management
  • Work closely with Director of Human Resources with various projects, as needed
  • Assist in Employee On Boarding procedures and processes
  • Assist Benefits Specialist during peak times (Open Enrollment, Year End etc.)
  • Assist Payroll Manager with various projects and reporting, as needed
  • Other duties and tasks as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work and interact across all departments and management levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of ADP
